20 months and 7 year anniversary (Should of been posted in January!)

Liam turned 20 months old on January 5th, and Treston and I celebrated 7 years of marriage on the 7th. I am so blessed to have both boys in my life. We had a lunch date at Jonathan's The Rub, and it was delicious! Then we noticed Chocolate Pizazz, and stopped by to check it out. They had Oreo bark which is amazing. I got an Upa (baby carrier) which I've wanted for a while, flowers, and a gift certificate to Gap. Most importantly I got a lovely card reminded me of why Treston loves me! I made my gift for Treston which is a date a month for this whole year. I can't wait for all of the fun places/dates we will be having!

Liam talking is the highlight of my day. There is a new word everyday, and I am amazed each time. Most of the time he mimicks something I've said, but it is so cute to hear his voice. Here are some new ones...

Rain, It's cold, Red, Blue, Orange, Purple, Cha cha (helicopter), woowoo (yellow), juice (milk), Josh, I Dada, I mama, I Dada church, Mama I Dada, I ow ow (I want up).

He also does random roll calls during the day. For example...
Liam : I mama
Me: I'm right here
Liam: I Dada
Me: Dada is at work
Liam: I Nana
Me: Nana is at her house

We do puzzles where he repeats the animal names, or points to where the animal is. He also repeats back colors, and letters when we practice during bath time. He is napping in his crib again, and it only takes a few minutes of rocking to get him to sleep. This is a huge improvement from the month of 2 hour naps in the car! He sleeps through the night more consistently, and is only nursing in the morning, and at bed time. We will be cutting out the morning feeding this month, and hopefully the night feed next month. Although I'm pretty proud of us this far, I'm ready to be done by two!

Update: Liam weaned at 22 months when I was about two months pregnant. Here are some pictures from 20 months to 2!

Liam's first Home Depot Kid's Workshop. My Dad used to take us, and I taught a few when I worked there.

Ashley arranged a night to make pizzas. It was girls vs. guys, and we lost.
