Christmas

We had an amazing Christmas, and it was so exciting to celebrate with our families! Uncle Josh came, and helped us get ready for the day on Christmas Eve. We ate at Guadalajara where we got to see the Browns, Maradiagos, and family. We also ran into Clair, and Allison! 

We then headed home to get Liam to bed, and the preparations began. We had to assembly Liam's train table, and make sure it worked of course. It was so fun having Josh under the same roof on Christmas Eve. I felt like a kid again! He even participated in our Christmas tradition of opening Christmas pjs on Christmas Eve. 

Christmas morning all Liam woke up, and played with his train until we left to Treston's Parent's. We couldn't even get him to open his other presents or look in his stocking! Treston did an amazing job with my stocking, and I'll share why once I upload some pictures. We then headed to Treston's Parent's house, and had a fun time playing with remote control cars, and trying to get Liam to ride in his presents. Aunt Stasia got him a battery powered Thomas ride. Gia, and Grandpa got him a firetruck pedal car. Liam loves to sit in them, and have us push him around. I'm sure he will figure them out soon. Breakfast was amazing, and we had a wonderful time playing/relaxing all morning!

We headed home for Liam's nap, and rested while we watched Catfish. I think we got Josh hooked! Once Liam woke up my parents were here, and it was time for our second Christmas celebration to begin. We ate burgers, and then the present exchange began. We helped Liam open his gifts which were really neat. Nana, and Granpa got him a recordable book which is The Night Before Christmas. They did a great job recording it, and Liam loves to hear their voices everyday. Uncle Josh got him an Elmo video, and an instrument kit. We all of course had to try out the different instruments, and it sounded like we had a formed a band. Liam was so cute trying each instrument. I tried the kazoo, and finally got a noise. Liam took it from me, and made the noise too! We are in the mimicking stage :). We all ended up in the play room where Liam showed off his train. It was so nice to sit around, laugh, talk, and enjoy the company of one another!
